At the heavyweight end, agreeing with what's been said about Zhang and especially Ngannou and Kabayel. Maybe throw Ruiz in there. All have earned top-contender status; let's see if they get the fights they deserve.
Imagine being a boogeyman at 26 years old and your dad "has to" speak for you like you're 13. Imagine being a boogeyman when you never mentioned the real Boogeyman once, needed your dad to lie about 4 million and "Peter Khan" (Zayas manager). Imagine being a boogeyman when you only had 1 knockdown in the last 7 years. I'm sure the guys at 140 are "terrified" of being outboxed for 12. There's only 2 boogeyman in boxing. Beterviev and Subriel Matias who his haters/naysayers will say he gets hit alot, well Matias kills and make people quit alot. There is nothing more demoralizing than quitting on your stool because going back out would lead to your potential death. Matias has killed a man and has been shot at and survived. He got rocked, but he immediately goes back to fighting you like the Terminator. His whole style is based on fear and boogeyman fits Matias the most. His whole game is to lure you into his trap vortex and pepper you with no loaded up shots. Short and paralyzing arm punches. Making someone not want to fight anymore is boogeyman behavior. Teo offered him a fight for February knowing that it wasn’t possible cause of the injury with his hand but Matias did say up the date to late March, April and they’ll be a fight so Teo decided not to take and take on Jermaine Ortiz although I
To be fair I should have had Matias on the list but was trying to not add more than one fighters per division, which is also why I didn't add Hrgovic. I am using the term boogeyman for 2 types of avoided fighters; the ones that are feared due to their destructive power, and others due to their incredible boxing skill. Fighters like Erislandy Lara and Winky Wright to name a couple.
Its Ivan Dychko, hands down. Arguably drawed or beat AJ in the Olympics IMHO. Guy with a great amature pedigree, Tyson fury's size, with great boxing skills and knock out power and in shape. He has been a pro for many years now, and still hasn't landed a fight against a live body. I've never seen a boxer more avoided.... It's actually kind of sad to see such a great prospect is becoming a never was, when he could have be a top 10hw tbh by this point. No serious heavyweight will step up to fight this man.
