Why is Fury so personal with Usyk?

Almost like he's been provoked by him.

Calling him useless, ugly and every name under the sun

It's not your typical banter or smack talk, it's quite aggressive at times.

He was less aggressive towards Wilder up in till the 3rd bout when Wilder and his team still showed no class.

I think it's a front from Fury. He's been loving, hating and in the middle and Usyk is quite perturbed by it. Didn't expect coke Fury to push his soft subtle body against him either in the presser.

The thing I know for sure is when that final weigh in comes if Fury is still doing antics then it's a bad sign.

I think it goes back to his rivalry with Usyk's countryman Wladimir Klitschko. Some of the smack talk got quite personal and Usyk is signed to K2. His manager also accused Fury of ducking his then fighter Ustinov back in 2014.

"Almost like he's been provoked by him."

You said it, not me. Usyk has most definitely gotten in his head, in some way or another.

Because Usyk will take his precious WBC title. He hates Usyk for that.

I'm not sure if he's emotionally strong enough to bear that loss. He may do crazy things when Usyk beats him.

Its because Usyk is the one who's got the opportunity to claim himself the greater HW.

If Usyk wins, people will look back on the post Wlad era as Usyks era.

Conversely if Fury wins he's worried people will criticise him for fighting an old small fighter.

He hates Usyk for putting him in a lose lose situation. What he really wants is to cash out against AJ, where as Usyk actually has a very good chance of beating him.

When Fury smashes up Usyk then it's proven that he is basically John Wick. Not the bogey man but the man you send to kill the bogeyman.

& I find his total lack of care in defending plastic belts against mediocre's somewhat admirable.

Fury is a man who only turns up when the time calls for it. He's a watchful guardian. A silent protector. A dark knight.

If he didn’t care about defending plastic belts then he wouldn’t choose the likes of Chisora to defend it against.

Fury is just extremely immature and thinks his rabbit jokes are hilarious. Noone else does.

Well maybe his fat dosser father.

In mma Conor was WAY more personal with Khabib and couldn't even look him in the eye when facing off at the beginning of their fight

Fury is only personal with 2 fighters, Aj and Usyk. I believe there is a level of fear. Ali was more personal with his tougher opponents too.

Fury knows Usyk is extremely dangerous and he is trying to get in his head, but that won't work. I have picked Fury to win from the beginning and I'm backing that like I would a football team

I still think it's possible, but I'm not too confident Fury will win. Certainly not overly confident

Fury is definitely more anxious imo, but again Fury seeks to perform best when he has fear and respect for his opponent

Because he never saw Usyk bleed during a fight. For the first time in his career Fury will face a sort of alien.

    Fury fears Usyk's unpredictable style.
