Literally counting down the hours and this reign will last for a full 14 days if we're lucky.

The first since Lennox Lewis 24 years ago.

    **** yeah. About damn time.

100% Fury has no issues with Usyk at any time.

Trouble is I dont know if Fury will be at his best or if thats long gone, but here's hoping since I know Usyk will be certainly at his best.

I'm rooting for Usyk. He's been the only Heavyweight title holder since Wlad that I actually admire as a person and don't want to beat with a baseball bat.

As far as predictions go, also Usyk. Fury looked like a big, sloppy and uncoordinated mess against Ngannou. Uncoordinated is the last thing you want to be against Usyk.

This may be the second heavyweight title fight in history where a winner is declared sitting on the floor cupping his balls (see Schmeling-Sharkey 1).

The chances of this happening are SO within the realm of possibility, I think they should post odds on it somewhere.

Fury's going to dig left hooks downstairs, and anything that hits the beltline is going to send Usyk complaining to the ref.

Stylistically, with Fury training to dig body shots, and with Usyk's glass belly, this fight seems like it'll be a mess.

    The referee could be crucial.

It's interesting because most boxers of this level wouldn't dare show weakness, Usyk always taps his beltline anytime he gets hit on it or even near it and it's somewhat a smart move in the sense it brainwashes the referee into thinking the shots are going in low, good bodyshots are very hard to sight normally. You need the right camera angle and slow motion to normally see how it landed. If Usyk can milk it as a lowblow he will. Both times Bertberbieb cracked him on the body he went down and started tapping the top of his leg/hip, looks like something someone would do if they got hit in the balls but it's just how he deals with it.

Fury might actually legit just punch him in the balls though just for the sake of it. LOL. And Usyk needs to do it right back but classic (honourable) Usyk will just rely on the referee which ain't going to help him.

Prediction wise, I'm gonna say Fury PTS in what he makes an ugly fight while Usyk tries to run and pot shot, Fury jabs Usyks head off while Oleksandr gets frustrated that he cant land clean and make any dent.

Hope it’s not a draw. Remember Lewis vs Holyfield 1?

I've said this before, but the protectors are designed to take a baseball bat shot. The number of low blows landed in the Dubois-Miller fight recently shows how most guys just accept them as par for the course.

Usyk, for all his skills, seems incredibly bothered by them, though, even when they land on his side. His complaining about it gets to be a bit much sometimes.

It's not amateur boxing. People aren't just going to focus on the head all the time.

If we're sitting there on the night of the big "showdown," and Usyk is on the floor crying about a low blow, and fans are watching super slow replays over and over trying to determine if the punch hit his balls or not (like they were against Dubois) ...

I don't think anyone's going to be happy with that.

IF the fight transpires - i'll be getting excited once the ringwalks are underway and not a moment before!

Am I the only one that’s good either way with whoever wins this fight?

The sport could use more fighters like Usyk. Fury has had an incredible come back story.

If IBF strips Usyk after a draw then the whole Undisputed showdown will be a scam lol

It's going to be fascinating. We're going to have 2 questions answered:

    If / how Usyk can deal with Fury's body shots and clinching;

And if / how Fury can deal with Usyk's movement.

In all honesty, 1.5 months out from the bout I was way more excited for Fury-Wilder 1 and 2 than Fury-Usyk, but I think anticipation will grow once the Saudis start putting out promo material.
