The other thing with Joe was taking a rematch with the guy. How many others do that? And for no title !!!!!!

Mayorga vs Trinidad for that first round alone

Vargas vs Trinidad brave effort from Vargas

    Reid vs Trinidad reasons above

Katsidis vs Marquez Katsidis fought shortly after his bro died and fought his heart out. Even managed to knock Marquez down.

Meldrick Taylor vs Chavez probably the bravest losing effort in boxing history. So much so that some would argue he should of won.

Arguello vs Pryor 1 Arguello gave a spirted effort but something funky was happening in Pryors corner

Marquez vs Pacquaio 2 and 3 close fights

GGG vs Canelo 2 I personally thought Canelo clearly won but GGG made it close and showed toughness and grit

    Maidana vs Floyd 1

    Kovalev vs Ward 1

Donaire vs Inoue 1 showed why Donaire was great even at an advanced age

You beat me to it, Actually, a lot of other fights mentioned in this thread are also very good. I still can't believe what Jim Watt got away with against Sean O'Grady. Here's a link to the first Thompson-Eubank fight:

Ishe sugar Shay smith. Losing effort against Daniel Jacobs. They don't call him sugar for nothing. From Robinson, to Leonard, to Mosley to ishe, his boxing style was just too sweet!

Yep. This is why I say that Eubank arguably had a better chin than Hagler.

He had no business being able to take the punishment he did at this stage of his career. Given how he felt about boxing after the Michael Watson tragedy, this was nothing but a warrior's heart and pride.

Not a big fan of Eubank, partly due to the amount of rounds we 'won' by doing virtually nothing and thought his style was boring... but he was always good to watch when somebody brought the fight to him- with that granite chin on display- shown in full in the Thompson fight. A real warrior.

Yes definitely. I was going to put a figure by them too where necessary (e.g. Jones - McCrory I; Hardy - Canizales I etc) but '2' was the one i had in mind there.
