The main difference between the trash talk of Ali and Mayweather is that Ali was charismatic and often funny when he trash talked.

Seriously, Ali said way more cruel things than Mayweather did.

I don't think Gatti will be talking about how he wants to kill Mayweather in 2025.

First Trinidad got to give him a beating.

Then DLH, and now the rest of Golden Boy will get their turn.

Mosley, and then Hopkins can go back to his origins of beating up welterweight champs, and get to beat up Mayorga.

Hell, maybe Wright can have his fun and beat Mayorga too.

How the hell is Mayweather ruining boxing when he's retired already? In fact, when has he ever ruined boxing? Boxing was supposedly ruined long before he came around.

You can always count on Aiken to discredit Margo. :good
Did you forget that Margo made a statement and a apologized to for being pissed at the outcome of their fight, saying
"I did lose that night, but I will make all the necessary adjustments to get back on top of the division." That right there shows a true sport. Admitting when your wrong

Margo is a class act as well as Cotto, and Mosley.

Mosley gets more passes for being a "nice classy guy" than anyone I can think of.

He finally is gracious in defeat, in his FIFTH defeat, and everyone goes "oh my god, he's such a gracious loser!!!".

Hell, it only took Mike Tyson two times to be a gracious loser. Hell, he was gracious in 2 of 6 defeats. That's a higher percentage than Mosley.

Hardly any boxers, or athletes, get believed when they claim they unknowingly took steroids.

But Mosley, who flew across the state for "supplements and vitamins", gets believed because he has a friendly demeanor and smiles a lot.

Ali was a great fighter. With a big mouth. But definetly one of the ATG.
As per "The greatest" I just have to say he gave himself that nickname. I don't think he is "The Greatest". He is one of them, But not the one

It's nice to see sportsmanship in an era where trash talking has become king. I thought Cotto would win, but he didn't. Margo certainly got my respect not just for his performance, but for his class before and after the fight. Cotto's class after the loss furthered my respect for him also.

My hat's off to both of them. It's refreshing to see two guys be successfull, without being asses.
