Hope they put on a good undercard to make this worthwhile.

I was hoping for Zhang but oh well. I think AJ will go through Ngannou like a dodgy kebab after 10 pints and if that happens it casts a huge shadow on Fury after the Wallin spanking. Fury now needs to do a number on Usyk but I don't think he wins that fight.

Completely predictable. They realize they ****ed up putting the skittish cash cow in with a real fighter in Usyk and will not make that mistake again. Hrgo and Zhang will be frozen out until the belts scatter. Joshua will fight calculated knockovers until Fury-Usyk is resolved. He's not a factor at the elite level anymore. Just a name going for one last cash grab and hoping he can KO the bloated corpse of Fury in a few years.

I will keep my fingers crossed and will bet on ngannou .

He has balls to face joshua in a boxing ring but who has the balls to face ngannou in an octagon ?

This might be a way harder night for aj than anybody believes . Joshua might gas in a try to stop ngannou while ngannou imho has by far the best shot resistance of any boxer .

I would also love to see aj trying to wrestle ngannou down but i,m sure he will not make the mistakes of fury.

They've been after maximizing profits since day 1. Dudes best win is still a 41 year old. He has never dominated a prime top 10 fighter.

Hope they make it a PPV event to at 89.99 a pop. It's a special event fighting a guy that is 0-1.

This isn’t too terrible. So long as he fights the Usyk/Fury winner after.

The fallout when Fury retires after beating Usyk

and we get Eddie Hearn & AJ shouting that Fury needs to fight them because they beat Francis :risas3:

As a boxing purist I want to see Ngannou knocked out to restore order to our sport after Fury disgraced us.
AJ will restore order here he will train for this like it’s a world title fight.

Why would Boxers fight for peanuts in the Octagon?

Its low risk high reward for Francis while making generational wealth, same reason all these UFC guys give random call outs to Boxers for Boxing matches

Zhang said Ngannou was offered to fight him on Dec 23rd & he turned it down, smartly in my opinion. If Francis can set up a Fury rematch & doesn't squander what he earned, even his grandkids will be rolling in wealth thanks to 3 Boxing bouts

Not to mention these message board size queens who claimed Ngannou was the next best HW.

Only way Joshua fights Zhang is maybe for a belt there'd have to be something on the line, no way he fights him for nothing. Too dangerous.

Why would AJ duck Hrgovic when he was supposed to fight Wilder? Wasn't Wilder everyone's favourite to beat Joshua.

Ngannou is a big fight financially, a crossover fight with mma fans. That could be huge. It's a bigger fight than Hrgovic.

The Hrgovic fight can happen if and when there's a belt on the line and if not, then why can't that fight happen later this year?

Ngannou could beat Joshua. I dont think that's beyond reason.
