I don't think Paul Williams could knock out any of the current title holders in 6, but I also read this article in *********** and I don't think he ever said he would ko Margo. Haha. I think this whole thread has being going off of a few words that were added to his quote.

 

Meh at least he is talking, hopefully it encourages Margo.

 

Is it just me or does anyone else remember the fact that Williams had to dig deep to pull out the 12th to squeak by a surging Margarito?

Now he's saying he's gonna stop him in 6? Based on what? Cuz he's been in the ring with him already? Kudos to Williams for beating Margarito the first time in a gut-check moment but let's not get carried away here Paul. Fight your fight but don't go making statements you can't back up.

NOPE, you didn't read this article, because this wasn't an article, buddy. This was said in an audio/video interview directly to Steve Kim, and Williams was being dead serious. He wasn't trying to hype a potential matchup. He genuinely believes what he says and was shooting from the hip on rapid fire questions.

 

Peedee would be hard-pressed to KO Margo in 6 rounds. I don't think it's likely.

And yeah, Cotto's one punch power is overrated. He hit Margo with clean shots, but they were all in reverse.

Honestly, I dont think there is any way Margarito gets knocked out by Williams. In fact, I think if Margarito can keep Williams from hanging on him after he hurts Williams, Margarito will be the one that knocks out Williams.

The Margarito that fought Williams is nothing like the Margarito now. Its as if the loss to Williams woke up the monster in Margarito. Margarito now jogs after his opponents in the later rounds to seek and destroy.
