Fair enough, Julio did, but I'm thinking more what one of the upper-tier fighters might land on him, but again, it could have just been that Cloud had no fear of Gonzalez and rightly knew that nothing he (Gonzalez) could do would affect him.

He did seem to have excellent reflexes, and he looked very agile dodging some punches.

He's better than Lacy was, he's faster, he doesn't get hit as much, he uses a jab, and fight's from the outside well.

At pingree24: Yeah, he's built like Lacy and fights like him, good win for Cloud, he needs some fights before he steps up against the big dogs of the division, maybe a piece of the world title fight before fighting someone like Calzaghe?

Lacy was not as quick as Clouds is and never had as good of a jab.

I think there were about 20 other times where the fight could've been stopped, but the referee stopped it when Cloud was tired as hell and Julio was throwing. I don't say it was a completely bad stoppage, since Julio was going to lose, but it would've been better if the referee waited for one more big punch from Cloud.

On his feet after taking a good shot in the corner, late in the 10th round. Stoppage was a little quick, imo, but then I'm real old school on this sort of thing. He lost pretty much every round, and got rocked in the 5th and the 6th. Great fight, worth watching.

Cloud impressed me. I was a little supicious when I checked his record and it looked like it was padded with a lot of stiffs, but he really did well in this fight to keep working against a tough, durable guy like this. He has an exciting style, and, imo, is a fighter to watch.

His corner should have thrown in the towel
