He had speed, power and decent IQ when fighting at WW.

He beat prime Porter, and if he didn't go up to MW for Golovkin, I think he would have done better against Spence. He also took the first 3 rounds against Crawford.

How good could he have been?

Moving significantly up a weight, then coming back down and so on - isn't a good idea for a fighter.

Lots of good examples of this. Roy Jones, Canelo, Trinidad, Brook, etc. Even Adesanya (sorry for the sport change). All their careers took hits as a result of changing weights etc.

Although, Brook took a lot of punishment from Spence right after coming back from losing to GGG at a much higher weight. I think Brook was just a level below the elite eg - Crawford, GGG, could say Spence. But he was also just a level above those such as Shawn Porter or Barrios. I'd say a similiar level to a prime 2016/2017 Thurman in his best days.

Crawford always had Brook's number really.

Spence, I could imagine it might have been a little closer but remember it was in Brook's garden as well.

Nevertheless, Brook was a very very good fighter with a brilliant career.

A young Michael Zerafa went the distance with him. That says it all.

A '' win '' In Michael Zerafa's eyes. An accomplishment. Lol.

The bloke fights 45 year old Mundine's.

That shows the circus he's involved in.

He was that good no one spoke his name
Spence was going the wbc route until he seen what ggg had done
And just kept telling brook just make that weight get back to 147
Just like Crawford should do to him if he wants that rematch

His fight with Spence would definitely have gone the distance if he hadn't been broken by Golovkin, could he have won? Maybe. He maybe should have retired after the Spence fight, but he made very good money afterwards, good career overall.

To me, after Golovkin, i think Brook should have stayed at 154lbs and how ever he fared there he fared. 147lbs just seemed like to much of a weight cut. I could see him mixing it with Harrison, Charlo and the rest of them. It would have been interesting.

Chased Khan for literally a decade.

Could have gone to 154lbs and been a champ there possibly

Michael Zerafa didn't and still doesn't even know his name.

    He thinks it's Kell Brooks.

Well he fought the best WW and lost, maybe he'd have been more successful at LMW had he not gone to MW though.

Brook beat Porter better than Crawford did (Crawford was losing and required Porters dad to throw the towel in which was extremely dodgy af)

Brook fought a well hydrated and healthy Spence. And this was after his pummelling by GGG. He did not fight the shell of himself Spence who was drained and inactive active against Crawford.

so anyone claiming Crawford is p4p top 5 should put some respeck on Brooks name
