I think that Williams is just the name on Cotto's list as first "big fight back". Perhaps an Alfonso Gomez type for a start but then a williams to get back into the driver's seat in the division?

margarito called out oscar instead of wanting to get his revenge back at williams. williams has not been fighting lately, i don't know but i think he's just going to face his WBO mandatory. Since shane mosley isn't available he's going to face 2nd rank michael jennings the WBU welterweight champion:lol:

That's his conclusion, he never said he expected Cotto to lose or he picked Margarito. Besides, who didn't pick Cotto over Margarito?, the majority of fans picked Cotto in this fight and the odds were very clear.

Williams is full of ****. He picks Cotto to win then disses him after the fact. What a shameless ****. I can't wait until Cotto gets a shot at Williams and rearranges his face.

He should keep his mouth shut or he's going to be the guy that everyone wants to see get KTFO.

There's no doubt about it, when Quintana beat Williams it was a joyous thing for alot of people out there. They wanted to see Williams lose, it was extremely gratifying for them. Quintana is 5'9 1/2 and it looked like he was fighting a building when he was in against Williams. Quintana's reach is a full 10 inches shorter than Williams.

Paul Williams is not an easy guy to root for. His natural physical dimensions create some pretty unnatural advantages for him in a weight class that's been dominated over the years by men like Henry Armstrong who was 5'5, and Pernell Whitaker who was 5'6. During the Margarito fight it became pretty apparent that Williams is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 6'3+. People were complaining about the 4 inches of height that Margarito had over Cotto with equal reach from the armpit to the end of the fist. What about if or when someone like Cotto faces Williams, and there is a 8 inch disparity in height, and a 15 inch disparity in reach?

So Williams Fought Quintana in 13 rounds on the same night? If not then it only took 1 round for Williams to ko Quintana in the rematch.
