Good observation. I agree Beterbiev is most vulnerable when you're punching with him in the pocket since he's so upright, but most of the time the opponent is going ot get the worst of that exchange.

Here's an analysis of how he can turn an opponent's aggression agianst them as well via ring generalship.

This clip certainly re-enforces my belief Bob Foster's left hook would ring Beterbievs bell and wickedly so.

Bob Foster lost to people Beterbiev would have chinned.

I feel like I'm forgetting a couple people but:

    Doug Jones
    Zora
    Ali
    Frazier
    Terrell

Beterbiev beats one of these men? Foster only lost to HWs,

    Original question:
Beterbiev could get clipped but it's more likely he bursts Callum's pipes and Callum can't hold him off, Callum barely kept John Ryder off him, and Canelo pushed him back. Don't see a winging shot doing it

    No Foster lost before that.

    He was beaten before HW.

Yeh and Foster would not also feel Beterbievs power, go back to classic rethardt.

Yes 8 losses is a lot, but a few of the losses were at heavyweight.

Foster`s long jab would have been a problem for the short armed Beterbiev.

After two more wins, he went in 1963 to Peru, where he lost to South American champion Mauro Mina by a decision in ten rounds at Lima. This was his first major Light Heavyweight bout.

He lost to three light heavies, one in his 11th fight and he lost his two final fights in 1978 at 175 too, well past his peak.
    65 Loss 56–8–1 Bob Hazelton TKO 2 (10) Jun 2, 1978
    64 Loss 56–7–1 Mustafa Wassaja RTD 5 (8) Feb 9, 1978
