Man you people need to calm down. He beat Callum Smith. A guy who is nothing special without his size advantage.

Yet he scored the KO with a series of illegal punches, which would get most fighters DQ'd.

He tried to cherry pick Bivol? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

A rabbit punch is a punch landed (often to the back of the head) during a disengaged time aka a time when the ref SHOULD be breaking you up. Not a live punching exchange where you put your head down. Tyson's overhands would often clip people on the back of the head, but he isn't regarded as a rabbit puncher. Accidental back of the head shots are the responsibility of the fighter to avoid. You can't target it, but if you dip and I catch you, that's on you. If you didn't dip, it would have been right on your jaw, if I adjust it downward as I see you dip, tough ****.

Bend at the knees, feel the breeze
Bend at the waist, get hit in the face (or at any angle on the head)

I will say that at one point I feel that Wilder was actually regarded as one of the worst rabbit punchers in the sport, pre Fury fights, so idk if that's good company.

There's not as much talk about it now because Wilder became a bit more clean and economical with his work in his later years.

As for AB doing it as much as Wilder but receiving more criticism, I guess I would ask you directly...

How many recent fights of Wilders have ended with rabbit punches involved and contributing to the fights end.

How many recent fights have ended with rabbit punches involved for AB?

If there's a difference there than I would assume that would explain the difference in criticisms.

With every foul riddled victory he scores over a fighter I like, my hate for him quadruples.

Smith can still talk a lot, despite that throat punch.

I don't see the deliberate rabbit punches that some people are talking about. When an opponent is hurt and ducking to avoid punishment some shots will inevitably hit the side/back of the head.
