Looks like some bad blood between the 2 teams.

Beterbiev’s shot selection is so good. Great jab too.

What I’ve noticed over the years is the little flurries he has, usually at the end of rounds too.

    Great fighter.

Beterbiev has far more in the tank than I thought given his age and long career. I've been of the belief that the Bivol fight will come too late for him but watching that has made me reassess that opinion. He looked far better than last time out v Yarde imo.

Really hope we see Bivol fight next.

Love it :)! I thought Smith did ok while it lasted tbf. Result was never in doubt for me, straightforward Beterbiev stoppage win.

I wonder if Smith continues his career. I wouldn’t bother if I was him, he’s done pretty well and made good money.

I imagine he will blame ring rust and go again.

Yup. I love him and skill wise he’s brilliant, but the HGH and test in his system and being a Russian fighter it’s clear as day. But nonetheless amazing fighter. Not many have those physical attributes at 39

Matchroom FC (who see no problem in Benn being proven doping) are kicking off about Beterbiev I see

You can’t make it up can you? On top of that Beterbievs manager was with Team Rivas during the horrendous Dillian Whyte blatant, and should have been banned for 4 years, cheating. They have some front that lot.

The shrewd banned poster @lencoreastside was spot on about Callum Smith

Callum 'Plank' Smith will be chopped down anytime he steps up.

    New name El Planko

Any reasonable person has to have doubts about Beterbiev.

Anecdotal of course, but the majority of what I see on Benn posts now are doubts and severe scepticism. He is going to find building a fanbase hard if he is ever allowed to box in the UK again.

This "Matchroom FC" phenomenon is overblown though. IMHO these days it's mostly a few trolls who do it for effect. The kind of "dramatic" posters we have seen here more than a few times.

Yeh was thinking that, domestic dust up before retirement with the titles all tied up by fighters who are a level above him. If he retires good luck to him, could have been more active but all in all a long and successful life in boxing amateur and pro.

The could bill the yard fight "Arthur's leftovers"

Good fight but the type of fight that should have been made 3 years ago before they jump up to challenge for titles.

I agree. Callum Smith has had a great career and he can retire with pride.
