Who was more of a dominant fighter in their weight class?

Both at their best and in prime and considering GGG has never been dropped. EVER. Or even close to it for that matter… I’d say Gennady.

    They’re both absolute tanks though.

I'm a huge GGG fan but not even he knocked out every single opponent. Beterbiev's dominance is unprecedented.

Beterbiev's resume is better and he doesn't have any losses. He has also cracked chins like Joe Smith Jr. that GGG doesn't have an equivalent for. Plus he is actively trying for undisputed. It's AB for me.

    Beterbiev possibly.
I like GGGs skills more but there is something about Beterbievs mentaity.
Far more unforgiving and ruthless than GGG who got behind his jab and amateur background when things got rough at the elite level, completely abandoned body punching, and pressure, stopped committing and putting his body behind his punches for fear of counters in the first 8 rounds of the Canelo rematch despite having an elite chin.
(not actually meant as a criticism since its completely normal, Beterbiev just is that savage)

Same for me. I'm a great fan of GGG but Beterbiev in my opinion and it's not close.

I'd say Beterbiev for the exact same reason.

Beter has been dropped and hurt and in every occasion still forced his will on others.

GGG while never dropped has been hurt a few times and in those instances kind of altered his tactics to win a decision...thinking mostly about the Dervenchenko fight.

Beterbiev doesnt have any favorable decisions whereas GGG got benefit of doubt against Jacobs and Dervenchenko.

Again, I'm a huge GGG fan but I think Beter is better at 175 than GGG was at 160. They're both ATG for me

Beterbiev is much better defensively, a better counterpuncher, and transitions offense/defense better. GGG is what AB would be after a few drinks, honestly.
