Manny Pacquaio overrated?

Saying he should have lost more when he was scandalously robbed by Horn and Bradley is elite trolling.

Not even sure what this post is. Why Mayweather is mentioned at the end is random and probably indicative of intention. Manny beat Horn and swept Bradley three times which reduces his losses to 6 not 8. Similarly he lost twice when he was very young and lost once when he was very old (40s). His real losses were Floyd, JMM (4th fight), and Morales.

Despite having some losses Manny is a better ATG than Floyd by most pundits. Floyd technically never lost but he should have at least 1 loss and at least 1 draw (JLC1, Maidana 1, and DLH couldve been a draw). Manny fought in the most weight classes ever and had some good matchmaking...but you still have to win the fights and that Manny did.

Manny is Top 20 ATG and so is Floyd but I place Manny ahead of Floyd.

Only mentioning Floyd since OP put him in his main post...in a thread about Manny. Yeesh

I think it's a recency thing. It applies to Mayweather as well.

 

First time I have seen anyone rate Floyd higher than GGG on this forum

 

In the 4 JMM fights, I had draw, close manny win, close manny win, and obviously we know the 4th. And Manny didn’t “lose” to Tim Bradley lol lets put that one to bed finally

 

JMM is getting to be a tad bit overrated here. First of all the MP fights were close. Could have gone either way. Second, Pacquiao's style was tailor made for JMM and yet he still struggled against Pacquiao.

JMM struggled against Chris John. He struggled against an over the hill Barrera. Prime Barrera beats him clean. Prime Morales beats him clean. JMM probably does box Hamed silly. But even that isn't a guaranteed victory. Hamed was awkward and with power. Marquez was not as offensively skilled or creative as Barrera was. Hamed might catch Marquez and put him down and with his power Marquez may visit the canvas repeatedly.

 

If you call him the GOAT and better than Mayweather, yes. If not, no. Floyd is the best fighter of his generation. It pains me to say it cause I can't stand him.

Against Mexican style he was overrated.He had issues there for sure and got exposed but against Murican style Pac didn’t have much of a problem.

 

Take Manny away from Marquez resume and you see why he needed Manny so bad. Marquez is highly overrated.
