I’m going with Munguia by decision. This is about as crowd friendly a match up can get.

Munguia close decision victory in a mix of a war at times with ugly inside mauling

I think it will be controversial but not the cynical prediction of X wins but is robbed by Y. I think more of an unliked fighter wins a narrow decision that some complain about

I’m going with Jaime, either by decision or a late ko. Poor defense, but younger, a good beard, and more importantly good stamina. Ryder’s no slouch neither, but he hasn’t gotten younger since his last fight and surely that Canelo fight took a little something out of him. All the makings of a very fun fight. And I’m excited to see what Roach was able to do with Jaime.

My prediction: Ryder should win a close deicsion something like 115-113 or 116-112

    Actual scores tomorrow:
    115-114 Ryder
    115-113 Mungia
    119-109 Mungia

I tend to think Munguia has enough to squeak one by again. His youth and engine are insane, plus he is backed by Canelo's former promoter Golden boy, vowing he is the next mexican star. That doesn't bode well for apponents, if history tells you anything. He came out on top barely in a war vs the incredibly tough Segiy Derevyanchenko, so i see something similar happening here in this fight with the gorilla. One thing to note is, the gorilla has a tendency to rally late with great success, so if he can keep it closer early, he might be able to pull it out down the stretch himself, but we have to remember, the one they are trying to make a star will likely get the nod, which is Munguia.

I’m going with Ryder winning the fight, but getting robbed on the scorecards (Golden Boy paycheck).

People are forgetting this is Munguia’s first real fight at 168. The previous one doesn’t count since Dervy was always a 160 fighter. Ryder will have nothing to fear as Munguia will be weaker than the bigger opponents he’s faced in the past.

Ryder is getting older so it will prob be competitive. I’m leaning 60/40 Ryder still though.

Ryder is not that good bro. He's easy to hit and Munguia when he comes forward is relentless. Ryders style plays into Munguias favor, and when the fight breaks out Ryder is going to take alot of punishment.
