A top-10 list without Henry Armstrong that also includes Kovalev is trash. Simultaneously holding 3 of 8 World titles, before alphabet titles existed, and settling for a questionable draw for what would’ve been a 4th World title says it all.

 

First of all, this should be in classic and not general. Second, so much of this doesn't make sense. Do you really believe that Tim Tszyu has already done more in his career than Langford, Charles, Greb, Armstrong, Louis, Gans, Pep, Leonard (both of them), Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Ross, Mclarnin, Harada, Gibbons, etc etc? This has got to be a joke.

Also all of your top 4 have something in common but I can't qwhite put my finger on it. Pardon the pun but I had to.

Top 4 doesn't need diversity quotas, if you can justify placing them there it doesn't matter if they're all black, all white, a mix of races, or purple spoonmen. However, OPs list is either a poor troll attempt or a serious manifestation of mental impairment. In your reply alone, you mentioned 2 white fighters that should be on the list in Greb and Pep, whether they should be top 4 or not is debatable. But Loma, GGG, Usyk and Kovalev are all great fighters but absolutely not top 4 p4p all time, it's hard to make the case for any but Usyk being the best of all time in their own divisions

It was a pun. You don't need to take it that seriously. I disagree with Pep having a case for top 4. Langford, Greb, Robinson, Armstrong and Charles are all clearly greater. Honestly Pep might not be top 15 if we're being honest.

For us, pound-for-pound does indeed exist - in our heads that is lol. For those of us that partake in this kind of thing it's fun, it's very interesting to imagine matchups between different styles Etc and I have learned a lot from many of the knowledgeable posters here.
