Never fear friend, once Canelo disposes of Charlo sister number 2 and then Bud he'll be looking for Loma to move up about 6 divisions to fight him.

As for Stevenson, adios you boring turd of a fighter. Nobody will miss you.

He’s probably hoping everyone will come out saying “no please don’t, you’re so awesome “ but everyone is really like, thank god!

I bet his retirement shorter than Teo's

Shakur makes no sense. How can you teach the younger generation when you have little to no experience yourself?

I would say good riddance, but sadly it'll last about as long as one of Brett Favre's 2 dozen retirements.

His loved ones need to put him around smarter people. If that happens he can succeed because he has all of the talent in the world. Him and his team have sawdust brains.

Just found out the reason why he retired.

He's The Main Actor in Gremlins 4. They had to start filming immediately.

I've always rated his skills but the one question mark over him was his mentality and if he can't handle the pressure of being a pro and the obstacles that can often throw in your way then he should stay retired.

But let's be honest this is either him throwing a hissy fit or just an attempt to draw attention his way. With Teo retiring and returning and now maybe Shakur doing the same I hope this isn't a start of a trend of boxers doing this to garner attention and create discussion around them.

There's no way he stays retired, even if he intends too. He'll miss the spotlight, the cash, he'll stagnate having no direction after a while. Cooler heads will prevail.

But in any case it's just a publicity stunt. Draw in more cash. No chance he stays retired. Surest bet you'll ever place.

He’s retiring because the WBO ordered Navarette vs Berinchyk for the Vacant WBO 135 title. He’s immature and emotionally unstable, so he’s throwing a temper tantrum. I’ve been vocal about saying Shakur Stevenson was overrated and a B+ level fighter. He’s not explosive or powerful, and he’s doesn’t have the mental fortitude to go through adversity and persevere. Raymond Muratalla, Frank Martin, Andy Cruz, Jemaine Ortiz, Lomachenko etc… are all better fighters than Shakur Stevenson.
