Except for Wilder? That fraud doesn't hit harder than a prime Tyson. He's a serial can-crusher, who was exposed every time he raised his opposition beyond the fringe contender level. Tyson would've starched that clown early.

When we take the question seriously its doubtful if anybody punches harder than mike tyson in his prime .

Pure force out of a single punch maybe ngannou , out of a rip crushing combination imho nobody .

I think Tyson's power was more a reflection of his speed and aggression, and his body type was perfect for that.
One punch power for powe, lots of guys technically hit just as hard. But not many had the same aggressive style, and it's hard to compare anyone of today with it either

Zhang, Wilder, Joshua, Whyte, probably even Fury, and a lot more no doubt.
Tyson was a roided 5'10 fighter, he's not hitting as hard as big punchers well over 6ft, it's just not physically realistic.
He was hyped out of this world by Americans.
All people remember are the highlight KO's, not all the punches people took.

Wilder for sure imo, the rest I think you are reaching.

Fury has never been a big puncher nor will he ever be. Whyte has a solid left hook and Zhang can whack but Mike Tyson knocked out better men than these guys consistently. Joshua and Dubois can whack but again Tyson proved his power over more years and was a much more dynamic puncher.

The irony as well of calling Mike Tyson roided when both Fury and Whyte have a history of taking steroids themselves lol.

Today’s era is simply not as talented at the 90s era despite training and nutrition improvements. The best athletes today are no longer becoming boxers while in the 70s-90s the divisions were stacked with talented fighters who were great athletes. Heavyweight boxing has been on the decline for years until now.

Completely agree. He reinvented the peek a boo style, ducked very low, his head below his opponent's belt line in some cases (wouldn't get away with it now) then he would bring the power from the ground up, if it connected then his adversary was sleeped in most cases.

This is almost peak Mike Tyson. On the other hand, Thomas is not known as someone with a titanium chin. So I'll pick Zhang, but I'm sure there are more...
