Yes, Hide didn't make it easy and was catching Bowe to start but the end wrapped it up well.

 

Yes fair point you are right that I should have accurately quoted that you said "one of the" but personally I do not think it's one of the worst ever, nowhere near in fact. And that you think it is is pretty surprising to me. He dismantled Hide, who did not make it easy especially for the first couple of rounds.

It's all subjective -you think it's one of the worst ever, I do not think it's even close. Each to their own.

Thanks for saying that. You were right to point out that I did not respond to what you actually said though, so apologies for that. But apologising and changing your mind sets a dangerous precedent and really lowers the tone of this place. So to correct this outburst of mutual reasonableness, if you like, we can insult each other for a few posts.

 

Bowe came in too heavy and had to chase Hide but at no point in time did he look like he might lose the fight.

Hide looks like a CW here.

Pretty easy win for Bowe.

He doesn't look shot at all here.

He had enough left to stop Holyfield two fights later.

i do think the third Holyfiiel ttook a lot out of him and the first Golota fight finished his reflexes off.

i would say the second Bowe/Golota fight ranks right up there with worst a winner has looked, but not the fight with Hide.

 

Bowe being top 5 h2h is incredibly generous given his incredibly thin resume against world class opponents. Most notably, very few punchers or men his own size who could box.
