Freddy you know a lot about boxing and i repect you but agresiveness don't win fight yes calderon was hurt and he hug for dear life in what many round 9, 10 and maybe 11 but the others rounds what do you saw, damm even calderon finish the fight wining those rounds. don't really get the point of this thread... I see how a fight like last night could be a disgrace for boxing, but to come into conclusions about a certain place is pure ignorance... esp. where robberies in boxing happing all around the world, even in the U.S. As to say some Puerto Ricans don't leave the island until they become superstars has no point... every fighter outside the U.S. most likely begin their career in their country and then pursue their dreams being champs in the U.S. where the best of the crop is at... how many fights did chavez have in mexico before he left? theirs even ??? about his first lost... point being corruption and robberies unfortunately is part of boxing at times, just like any other sport, and no country should be blame more than the other when it's happening every where...
