All I hope & pray its a great fight with the better man on the night getting the win they truly deserve. Plus there will be no suspicious officiating of which our sport suffers continuously as we are all aware. I like both fighters
its the epitomy of Boxer Vs Brawler I cannot wait to see it

I don't think his chin will, but his body may. I don't know if folks were watching the Arthur fight closely (I don't blame you), but he hurt Bivol with a straight right to the body. Arthur is definitely not a puncher.

Bivol is a great champ but I don’t think he is chinny, are any of these Russians they are hard as ****? but I do think beterbiev wins as he’s naturally bigger and stronger so the old saying a good big one beats a good small one… and he’s a bloody scary bloke

    Bizarre OP.

The real question is will Beterbiev's power break through Bivol's defence.

Haven’t seen anything to suggest Bivol has a poor chin whatsoever……..

The real question is: When has Beterbiev's power not gotten through anyone's defence?

Beterbiev’s Chin isn’t exactly great himself. He’s been down against very average opponents.

The real question is when has anyone’s power gotten through Bivol’s defence? There’s 2 ways to play this game.

I think the question is will Beterbiev be able to pin bivol down he cuts the ring off and stays out of range like no one else and he doesn’t deviate from his game plan, if he keeps his discipline and uses his jab which is as good as any jab in the sport then I can see him getting a points victory and that is what I think will happen in this fight. It’s worth noting that iam one of the worst on here at predicting the outcome of fights but that is what I believe will happen.

Bivols chin, weak body and his too much respect for Beterbiev.

One thing I would note - many seem to be predicting that this will go the way of the Gvozdyk encounter - and that is emminently possible, however I personally don't feel that Bivol and Gvozdyk are actually that similar - they both have great jabs, but IMO that's where the similarity ends, with Bivol being MUCH more fluid in movement and footwork, and more defensively astute IMO.

Bivol has managed to control distance effortlessly - even against much bigger guys like Zurdo, which indicates that even if he doesn't sit down on his punches, he is not as feather fisted as people suggest (something Benavidez attests having sparred with Bivol).

That said, Beterbiev is not Zurdo or any of the other fighters that Bivol has faced, and it will be interesting to see how/if Bivol adapts if he cannot control the distance and tempo of the fight in the same way. Can he sit down on his punches more to gain Arturs respect but maintain his footwork and fluidity? Does he have more in his locker than the jab 1-2 that seems to work so well for him inc 'cruiise control' mode; he has showed some beautiful combos at times, but those usually only appear when he has needed them - and he will likely need them far more often against AB

One thing we saw with Beterbiev in periods against Yarde, Browne and even Deines in a couple of spots is that when he is being defensive minded, and on the back foot, his offense is - not nullified - but certainly less effective than when he is dictating the terms.

For me that is the key to victory in this fight - can Bivol dictate the distance and tempo, and keep Artur thinking as much about defence as offence, or can Artur disrupt Bivols fluidity and mobility and take the initiative and cut of the ring - which he does tremendously well.

They are like ying and yang, which hopefully makes for a classic encounter!
