When will we see another American HW champion ?

Wrong. The usa has always been the greatest nation in the Olympic games which has hundreds of countries competing an has hundreds of different sports an events. Only China with its commie government run state sports programs have come close or matched the usa in recent games. Where’s your country in the medal table,son?

But it´s the only such sport that is popular in England that is dominated by big men.

 

Yea, USA specializes in sports most nations have very little participation in.
But if you look at the athletes in American football, basketball and baseball, then you will see a huge number of talented giants.
And in America, the talented youth athletes have strong programs for those sports, unlike boxing.

The best (big )athletes in America are in the NBA, NFL and MLB.

Similar to, England having as much chance as winning the world cup as America has of having another dominant world champion anytime soon.

 

My country has about 5 million people. USA as of today has 331 million. I'd be concerned if you didn't get more medals in an event played once every 4 years against us. I also shouldn't be surprised I have to explain the difference between a sport and the Olympic games to an American, but here we are.

You might get a titlist again once the titles split, but being THE champion, no, not a chance. Boxing in the US at the grass roots just can't compete for the best athletes, why on earth would anyone choose boxing over NFL and the NBA.

We might even see a talent drain in lower weight classes as now collegiate level athletes can receive sponsorship and endorsement deals worth millions per year. You've got a collegiate gymnast right now making more money than most top US pro heavyweight boxers. Jared Anderson wishes he was raking in that kind of money, where one endorsement earns them more money than he makes from any fight he's had to date.
