He sucked as a fighter, and he's even worse as a commentator. His most articulate commentary is if someone gets hit he yells "whooooooo whooooooo". His carreer as a boxer was a fraud. Juiced up to the gills (it was obvious), claiming he trains so hard and he's a bodybuilder this and that, and then after the fight he becomes a fat pudgy mess (you're not fooling anyone m8), goes life and death with a russian club fighter and for some reasons is some american boxing warrior. Get this dumb ass out of my face.
He definitely didn't suck as a fighter, wtf is that? I agree with you about his commentary though, Jesus H Christ. He's unbearable in an era of unbearable commentators.
Bradley was a warrior in the ring, stop with the nonsense. Regarding his commentary....he's very good at pre and post fight analysis; brings a boxers perspective to the game. His commentary is sub par but not at Lennox Lewis basement.
I find Ward OK and Bradley as an unprofessional twat. He ****ing giggles when there is a mismatch happening. Mofo laughs like a little girl. And his commentary is meh. He barely ever addresses the actual in ring action. He is basically doing a podcast and breaking down small increments of the fight. I don´t need a commentator to do a slow ass fight breakdown/ film study. And I don´t need them going: "Ooooooo!" when Janibek lands a smooth uppercut. If you were to just listen to his commentary as on a radio, you could not understand what is happening. This content is protected Now this is commentary done well. Short, to the point, full of emotion. Not some dull podcast. I hate modern commentary. And what sucks is that you just can´t turn it off in most cases. "Just mute it bro" **** you! I want to hear the crowd and the punches land. It adds so much to the atmosphere. But Tim Bradley´s monotone yip yapping and Ooohing ruins it.
Still better than British commentary, our pundits are unbearable. I liked Paulie he seemed to see the bigger picture and easily pick up on what fighters are either looking for or doing then convey it well which surprisingly lots of fighters can't do in commentary. Spend half my time shouting at the screen and the commentators are oblivious. Amount of times fighters get hurt hide it well and the commentary don't see it is annoying, Usyk hides when he is hurt really well where fighters like AJ can't see it. Bakole literally rocked that French dude to his boots with the first hook he landed in their bout and the fight was about take a massive turn for the rest of the bout and commentary didn't see it they were trying to HAM up the protected manufactured medalist. You can see the outcome of a bout from the first round many a time. It's what makes it exciting. Fury Usyk first round is going to have people going nuts.
As a miserable old boxing fan of some 50 years, I've been wondering to myself lately which has deteriorated more the skills of the fighters, or the commentators? Today's commentators are absolutely horrible compared to the greats of the past, just like the fighters themselves lol Bradley is probably one of the worst I've ever heard. Great call posting that Don Dunphy video, he is probably my favorite commentator of all time.
