Can Mosely take the punishment Margo serves out, or will he run for 12 rds?

What makes people think he can do better than Cotto against Margo?

Margo is a very deceiving fighter - sure, he looks slow and appears to gets hit a lot, but he does what it takes to get in close and absolutely slaughter his opponent.

Can Mosley at age 37 deal with this sort of pressure, power, and iron-chinnedness? :think

    I don't think so.

In fact, I'd pick a late TKO for Margo.

bigger guys who can box Vernon Forrest big and have a long jab and are big, Winky Wright big and fast. Margo is just Big thats all he wins by attrition against smaller guys who gas. Mosely wont gas.

Cotto is not overrated. He is right where he should have been being one of the top 3 at welter. I say he loses to Margarito and Williams because they are both very durable and for different reasons, offensively difficult. In time I suspect Williams will move from 3 to 2 over Cotto but that remains to be seen.

I'd put Mosley a step behind the top 3. And if this fight gets made this will be plain to see.

The problem with fighting Tony is that his head is soooo easy to hit that apponants tend to head hunt all fight long, then get discouraged after the 6th or 7th round because thier best power shots don't faze him and up to this point they've been sustaining a serious beating. fighters need to go to his body in the early rounds and try to slow him down, make him think twice about continuous pressure. put tomy in a position that he needs to try and box and he's f--ked.

I think if this fight happends, it could go either way esp. if its the same mosley who fought cotto... mosley is very smart, but has a lot of the tools to take this fight to a decision victory... we could see that many veterans like hopkins and mosley clinch at times throughout the fight after they land their punches... prevented and making it more difficult for fighters to land their punches... i know many of us hate clinching but it does help at times... i still believe cotto could've gone the distance if he clinch at times instead of going backwards, but it's known young fighters don't like clinching... mosley is a smart veteran, so don't count him out...

Smoke gets in your eyes? Mayorga is gonna stick his chin out there and he'll need a smoke after that because there's no smoke without a fire - Mayorga provides the smoke, the illusion that he can get it on brawling style for 3 rounds, Shane will provide him the firepower and he'll get smoked after that.

Mosley does have the skills to win by UD. I just question if he's smart enough to use his skills the way he should!
