Does anyone here actually rate Fury as 'the greatest heavyweight of all time'?

As he has proclaimed himself to be.
I have read that some people do, but does anyone genuinely think that here? Some sections of the media have definitely proclaimed him a top ten ATG.
You can read that as either as H2H or in terms of resume \ achievement.
    Both seem... excessive to me...

    Oh dear god no.

He would honestly do well to get in the top 25.

H2H perhaps top 15, maybe higher. Unfortunately, ATG status doesn't count mythical fights.

    Yes me

Fury is the man you send to kill the boogeyman after he takes Usyk's virginity all will be clear but the excuse makers and haters will always remain. Fury said it last year, once he smashes Usyk to pieces they will say he was too small and old and that's what will happen.

You can't beat a man who never gives up and no matter what Fury does him getting up round 12 against Wilder will remain his boxing triumph. It comes from deep down within his soul a true bred and born fighting man who never says die. Can't be taught. Can't be conditioned.

If getting a long count to not lose a fight is your defining moment that says it all.

As @Braindamage noted, Fury may be top 15 head to head. His size and ring IQ make him a challenge for any heavyweight. From an all-time great point of view, he is nowhere close to the top. He beat Klitschko which was a great win over a long-reigning champion. Other than that and the trio with Wilder there just isn't enough there to place him really high on the ATG list.

Lastly, and I know I am in the minority here, I don't rank Usyk too highly strictly as a heavyweight so beating the Ukrainian will not bump Fury's level up too much. Conversely, should Usyk steal the Gypsy King's crown Oleksandr will move up quite a bit on the ATG list as a two weight undisputed champ.

In a alternate universe where Ngannou is #2 alltime Fury might be goat (depending who you talk to)

Not even close. That's as utterly unjustified and absurd as Mayweather declaring himself "the best ever."

21st century boxers appear to be unbelievably ignorant of boxing history and disrespectful of the greats that came before them.

I don’t think it’s the right time to ask these kind of questions because coming fight really is a make or break moment for Fury.
