UKDweller.....says....."there is no real risk in boxing."....then goes on to say you can get a calf injury in MMA? What?
Do some research....people "die" from boxing. I would take a calf injury any day.

AJ is gonna KO him early and Joe Rogan and ppl will be sad because Francis will look like a child in there and it's gonna feel uncomfortable for them to see that man beaten and bloodied

Joshua is not going to KO Francis and it certainly won't be early. AJ will only win off of points fighting hesitantly like in Ruiz 2. He is not going to want to test his chin against Francis.

    Heading into the AJ fight...?
I still feel that he's something of an unknown quantity. Even though there is more tape on him as a boxer than before, a lot of predictions around him seem to be based on whether you think Fury was prepared or under-prepared for their fight.
So I don't expect anyone to have anything other than a hunch - let's keep all debates respectful please.
My view - and again, this is based on as much information as anyone else - is that Nagnnou was better than expected, thanks to his rich MMA background. But Fury was not psychologically or physically prepared for the task at hand (and is likely declining). Therefore, the result flattered Francis. I think AJ beats him fairly easily, to be honest.
I think, as an aside, Fury's poor performance has also opened the door to more of these crossover, gimmick type fights. It's been legitimized because he had a bad showing in a bout which only happened because he was intent on swerving top challengers. Tyson is indirectly responsible for third AJ fight taking place.
Despite this, I do want to state that Francis is a really likeable guy and it's hard to begrudge him his moment in the sun.

Francis wouldn't get bowled over by a little fat man on 3 weeks notice or outwrestled by a 220 pound midget.

At least he can punch. It's taken a long time for Aj to find the balls to fight a puncher

He's going to shock many again, not me!

Ngannou is the truth. He showed the truth about Fury and will do the same with AJ.

Aj may run and spoil his way to an easy points decision, but I think he will get stiffened in a few rounds

Francis by ko before round 6

I think he is completely overrated and, while I had never heard of him before the Fury fight, I do appreciate his success in the UFC. Going strictly off of what I saw in the Fury fight he has very little going for him as a boxer. He had power but didn't seem to actually have any skills.

He fought his fight and an effective fight it was against the GOAT. He has skills. Any big lump with power can chin the bodybuilder, any big lump with a chin of his own has a very good chance. Francis can take a few off AJ, AJ cannot take one off Francis or he's finished. That temple shot that put Fury down would have AJ asking boxfit Ben why he feels like this whilst blinking SOS.

Stick Ngannou in against all of AJ's competition and see what his record is when he comes out ...

See, I think Fury supporters (and I think we can call you that, miniq!) HAVE to now argue that Ngannou is a killer ... Otherwise you have to face the stark reality that Tyson is overrated ...

Depends if you ask AJ fans or Fury fans. Overrated by the latter. Probably rated about right by the former.

It is hard to get a gauge on a fighter off one performance though, and against a man known for being extremely uneven over the years. If all we saw of Wallin or Cunningham was what we saw from their Fury performances you'd be forgiven for thinking they were some sort of killers.

Ngannou is being overlooked again, he showed he’s a big dangerous guy in the Fury fight (as terrible and shocking a performance as that was from Fury).
