If I'm not mistaken, they are at the same time.

it should, the EM fight has no business on PPV.

Morales has fought on PPV in 12 of his last 15 fights.

I usually get most ppv's, excluding the Jones-Hanshaw, Barerra-Fana, Sultan-Briggs type of cards. I have even gotten my share of bad ones too. I have probably gotten close to everyone of Morales' other ppv's as well. This time I'm probably going to pass.

First off it's going against an excellent Showtime fight in Vasquez-Marquez. I'll order a ppv even if its going against a regular HBO or Showtitme card. I love to get 6-7 fights in one night when I get the dualin card. Ths time the Showtime card will suffice.

The Morales fight will probably be a decent scrap but nothing spetacular. The problem ,to me, is the undercard. Nothing there really is of interest to me. When the undercard was Holt-Torres and Lopez-Castillo I was interested in it but not now. I like Chavez Jr and dont mine watching him develop on these cards. Just as long as there not the second best fight of the evening. When he's the fourth best fight on the card I'm fine with it.

So with the weak undercard and a good SHowtime fight to watch I'll have to pass on this one.

I am interested in both fights for sure but I'd much rather watch the vasquez marquez fight.

from boxing die hards, it's not even a question what fight to buy but for casual fans, the sound of hearing eric morales' name will still sell the ppv IMO. most casuals are not that familiar with marquez and vasquez but are very familiar with morales. i think the ppv will do ok. and the quest for a 4th world title is just a nice story
