    Better versions of both.

The Vitali who knocked out Williams faces the Wlad who dominated Haye.

    Low morale.

His mother will faint when the first round is over.

    Who takes this?

If they weren't brothers? Vitali by tko
If they fought as brothers? Wlad on points

Vitali by TKO, tougher, more resilient, even though Wladimir has more power, I don't see how he would fare against his brother, who delivers quite a number of devastating punches during the fight.

Wlad aint jabbing and grabbing, he will be aggressive and try to take Vitalis head off. Which will turn into a brutal fight, Wlad is the far superior puncher and faster that he could hurt Vitali, more so than Old Lewis and Sanders.

But id go just for Vitali by round 8 stoppage, Wlad cant keep up the pace needed to stop Vitali.

I'd of always said Vitali, tougher and stronger. But wladimir had some serious speed in his prime. And greater one punch power than Vitali

Would of been an excellent fight between two of the best. But rightly so we never saw it

If Sanders could knock down Vitali. Wlad could aswell. And he had both hands to do it with. Vitali would fight very careful against Wlad thus losing his advantages.

Also. Vitalis poor low guard lean back defence wont work against Wlads jabs like Lewis. Against short slow and small plodders it is effective but not against ATG jabs from people roughly the same size as yourself.

Wlad was much better proven - you'd have to back him.

Prime Vitali lost a close fight to shot Lewis, that's not how a passing of the torch from one generation to the next goes - Wlad would've beaten that Lewis.

    Vitali.
Higher ring IQ, ability to punch on the move and change the angles of his punches to find the holes. Overall scrappier and more durable as well.
He's big enough and tough enough to make Wlad gun shy. Every time Wlad punches, he'll eat return punches. We have seen from lesser fighters once you take the jab and grab away, Wlad struggles. Vitlai's punches will bother Wlad more than Wlad's punches would bother Vitali.

    Vitali by KO

Going against the grain but I always backed Wlad in this hypothetical match up.

Vitali is extremely overrated on this forum. Wlad has better movement, speed, timing, and power. Wlad by UD.

Sanders hits very hard and is extremely unorthodox, plus Vitali got straight up. Wlad has more power but that doesn’t mean he could stop Vitali. I think his own lack of durability would ultimately be the key factor here and why Vitali would eventually win.

He is somewhat but he was still a very good heavyweight - wasn’t his fault his era stunk. He also had something that Wlad crucially did not - durability. I think he gets to Wlad in the later rounds and forces a stoppage (while being behind on the cards).

Vitali for me was always the superior of the two, from way back when they were just prospects I was more impressed with Vitali's technique, sure Wlad has the speed and power which means he passes the eye test but real technical boxing skills Vitali has a clear advantage, better lateral movement, better punch variety, better control of distance and better head movement. Vitali can also counter punch unlike Wlad who was your typical lead first type of fighter, something no even Steward could change. Vitali's also got the better chin and much higher work rate.
