Tank really got the better of Haney from that clip. Still, it could be from sparring that happened years ago.

Even though this is just sparring I can’t help but think that a good pressure fighter really gives Haney fits. Loma showed how it was done with smart pressure. Matias could be a nightmare for Haney to deal with if they ever do fight.

I honestly think this is an attempt to get into Haney’s skin and also trying to give Garcia some confidence in his chances against Haney. I guess it gives him some comfort that the guy that KO’d him is laying hands on Haney. It wasn’t like as if he himself was putting paws on Haney. Garcia better hope that he can have that kind of sustained attack on Haney, which I doubt he has the ability to do so.

 

In a way, it's now like Tank has beaten Mayweather. If you think about it.

Yeahh Matias from a stylistic perspective is like a bigger Lomacheko. Not as skilled, but more aggressive in how he breaks you down. He comes at you with pressure and throws volleys of punches, from awkward angles. And I know triangle theory doesn't always work in boxing, but if the three champions in 140 were to fight I see it will go,

Yeah I agree with everything you said. Matias is a scary dude and Haney doesn't have the power to hurt him, so that would be the toughest fight of Haneys career if it happens.
