Who in the history is a number one? Who did have a highest amount of punches per fight? The highest numbers of volume?

    Calzaghe, Usyk, Pac-Man or Lomachenko?

    Are there some official Stats?

Antonio Margarito may not be #1 but his punch output over his career was quite high.

As a kid when I would watch Jeff Fenech fight, he never seemed to stop throwing.

A current example would be William Zepeda who has a simply relentless output, a recent one would be the likes of Calzaghe who relied on volume to win rounds and all time great volume punchers included Harry Greb or Henry Armstrong, they showed the world how to break even the best with unceasing output and the others are simply following their example.

    Maidana

Which is why he was so underestimated. He hit like bricks but could put a big output. Caught Floyd off guard. Khan just about managed to handle him and his early bodyshot probably saved his bacon from an onslaught.

Usyk has a freakish output...or used to but given his power it made more sense. He's dropped down to about 600 punches now but given age and weight fighting much lower output heavies it's perfectly fine and still well more than enough, also tries to put a little more sting on them. Fury has to upset this output and get Usyk out of his comfort zone which he will.

Maidana is definitely a one off in that all his shots were thumping and his output could match pretty much anyone in the division 800-1000 punches. Which is what Usyk could do which is impressive for a cruiser.

Zach Padilla. I recall his fight against Ray Oliveira was a combined record of 3020 punches thrown. Insane workrate.

Subriel Matias throws 88-97 punches per round, Arnold Barboza is 2nd at 140 in volume.

Makes sense William Zepeda has a high output. He spars with Subriel Matias so he's accustomed to the work rate. They both train in the same gym in Mexico under Jay Najar.

Troy Dorsey, as well. Particularly in the Paez fights.
