So Dillian Whyte has been cleared by the Texas boxing commission that he had his license with on the run up to the AJ fight.

What's your thoughts? Can't see him doing much as he looked on the decline in his last few outings. Maybe a couple of decent pay days left though with the domestic scene being very competitive at the minute.

Sham process just like Conor Bent and Bumgardner

Nothing official from VADA, BBBofC or UKAD.

Con Bent, Bumgardener and Dillian Whyte are all drugs cheats.

The fact that all three of these skum athletes are all moaning about having to spend hundreds of thousands in legal fees, tells me all I need to know.

Clown vibes again from a sport that manages to defy the odds and find new depths in the gutter it lays in

    Man he's unfortunate.

It's in the Eggs, it's in the supplements, it's everywhere Koog's; bless our hearts AJ has avoided such contamination.

Shambles but no surprise from a sport that has a pathetic stance on drug cheats.

I'm no fan of Whyte but he did the right thing, stayed silent and let the process take place

He is clear so good luck to him on this occasion

Conner Benn could learn a thing or two from him

AJ generates far too much money for anything to happen.

Should AJ test positive, they would throw the sample away or replace it.

    Professional boxing is a business.

If he’s cleared he should be given the purse for the Joshua fight then? Didn’t think so.

    Who's going to pay that?

I guess he's going to file a case against the supplement provider for loss of earnings.

How on earth can they say with 100% certainty that it was a contaminated supplement?

As always, the details of the investigation will be private, so no-one will know the facts and how they reached this conclusion.

Boxing really is a farce when it comes to stuff like this.

Sooo corrupt. Why on earth is he even licensed by them? Could have sworn it was the Portuguese board?

Hang on, he actually hasn't been cleared by anybody has he? Just an unknown 'forensic expert'

Yep. Probably an expert of his choosing.

Laughable. It's like committing a crime. Running away from the police and the law. Finding someone who thinks you're not guilty, then telling the whole world about it.

    https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...pplement-caused-positive-drugs-test-last-year

It's a poor article from Sky - genuinely shocking stuff from an organisation that claims to be rigorous. A press release, not journalism. Looks like they've taken a lesson from IFL in the benefits of client journalism.

It doesn't say whether the document they've seen is Whyte's defence or the verdict of the Texas Commission. No mention of the BBBofC, no mention of UKAD. Simply "Dillian Whyte cleared to resume boxing career".

The below from Thomas Hauser's August article in Boxing News seems very relevant today:
