One of my life's great achievements was watching a James Toney fight on Boxnation only to randomly hear Steve Bunce quote some throw away line I posted on here earlier in the day. Was half pissed out of my head and started shouting to my mates. "That's fooking me he's quoting."

I loved it back in the day, at it's best you got the likes of Walsh V Appleby (from it's maiden voyage) but it's competitors grew and it never really kept up.

It seems that BoxNation's new owners are financially strong and that they take it seriously to build a new strong platform. Especially in these times when all the focus is on Saudi, we need focus on the UK Boxing scene. Let's hope they have patience to create a strong platform for UK boxing shows.

I loved BoxNation and was a subscriber from day one.

They managed to gather some people with great passion for professional boxing. For me there was nothing better than a night in the company of Steve Bunce, Steve Lillis and Barry Jones.

Used to enjoy watching Derek Chisora fight on there, as well as other boxers.

    The ones I remember were:

    David Haye v chisora
Mayweather v somebody and khan was on the undercard
    Fury v klitcho
    Khan v alverz

Especially liked some of the build up and was well worth £10 for the whole month.

Was heaps of Huck fights on it. The Povetkin vs Huck war was the best fight I seen on the channel.

Agree with this, plus it did have backing from that Rainham Steel guy and they were still struggling. I think he put in about £200 million. Got nothing back no doubt.

That was on Mayweather v Maidana undercard. Tougher fight than usual for Floyd that night.

My understanding of the Rainham Steel sponsorship is that it was more of a tax dodge than anything else. Just what I was told though
