I just don't see how Bivol will win against Beterbiev

Bivol got rocked by Joe Smith w/ overhand right right at the bell and a body shot by Lyndon Arthur. If they had extra time to follow through with a 1-2 combination, he'd be out cold. I put my money on Beterbiev to sleep him.

If there is anyone who can beat Beterbiev, it's Bivol.

Bivol is always relaxed in the ring. He doesn't panic or get flustered. That's because he lays down on a bed of nails for relaxing.

His arguably boxing's best pure boxer. His defense is the best in boxing. His footwork and distance management is outstanding. His jab is great. He has basically mastered his style and he's always fighting his fight.

Yes, Beterbiev has fearsome power and offense and underrated boxing skills, but he's never fought anyone like Bivol. A man who can transition from defense to offense in fraction of a second and return fire with combinations.

I think Bivol will win a decision with some rough moments.

Bivol raises to the occasion. You will be shocked how Bivolmakes it look easy. And then... Of course... Everybody will say that Beterbiev aged. Haha

Beterbiev is fighting both father time and Bivol and the last time I checked their both undefeated.
To honest I like both fighters and its hard to root for just one of them.
I will say this though, if Bivol loses on the cards then that in itsef will be a victory for Bivol for not getting ktfo.

Nobody so far has been able to go 12 rounds without tasting the power of Beterbiev but if anyone can it's Bivol. He's the best fighter Beterbiev will have faced as a pro and Bivol does have great defence and while I favour Beterbiev nobody should be that shocked if Bivol wins.

We've seen so many so called invincible punchers come up short and out boxed eventually, Ali did it vs Foreman, Douglas did it vs Tyson, Barrera did it vs Hmed, Hopkins did it too vs Tito. Boxing is hard to predict and there's rarely a sure thing in boxing, so don't count out Bivol, even if he doesn't win, I expect him to test Beterbiev like nobody else has done.

Yeah the skill gap is small. Even at his age I'm worried Bivol will crumble in the 10th after some bodyshots. He can't take those shots and he won't be able to back Beterbiev up like some of his other opponents. Bivol must spam his speedy 1-2s, counters and run

He has literally one way to win which is to box from the outside and stay off of the ropes. I see Beterbiev putting him down early and then stopping him later for my money

Never been all too high on Bivol and I don't think he has the power to keep Artur honest and I don't think he has enough speed or dimensions to outslick Artur for 12 rounds. 36 minutes is an incredibly long amount of time to spend in the ring with Artur Beterbiev and I don't think Bivol has the goods to make it to the final bell.

Beating Beterbiev requires defensive finesse, a mastery of distance/range maintenance, and the physical strength to keep from being manhandled on the occasions when he gets to you.

Bivol might possess two of those three attributes, and two out out of there ain't bad. I doubt it's enough against Beterbiev, however (if Beterbiev is healthy and some approximation of his physical best).

Alternatively, you have to have sufficient firepower to halt or hurt Beterbiev, enough at least to keep him defensively responsible.

Bivol doesn't have that kind of offensive arsenal.

I just hope it's the same Beterbiev we've known up til now. Coming back from the surgery and at his age. Part of me is expecting Bivol to win by KO due to a depleted Artur. Maybe Father Time has already robbed us of what this fight should've been.

Beterbiev doesn’t have the best Chin. Bivol absolutely could beat him.

LOL You start by saying that you don't see a way Bivol can win, then go on to explain how Bivol can win. But, you are correct. Bivol most definitely needs to keep Beterbiev on the outside, not allow himself to get trapped in corners or on the ropes. Beterbiev has decent footwork a cuts the ring off well. Bivol is a master at keeping distance with very good footwork and an educated jab. Great fight. Both highly skilled and at the top of their respective games.

Believe Bivol can and will take this. father time....bad knee...there are levels...if it goes to the later rounds...the more it goes...the more the knee and time will work against Beterbiev. much respect for both fighters.
