I think Fury trained enough for Ngannou.

Before the fight, many would’ve reasoned that even a half prepared Tyson would easily out skill Ngannou.

What the fight brought into even more focus for me was that Fury didn’t have that ability to actually put box Francis - aside from whatever his conditioning was - especially when his go to hugging and mauling tactics were negated...when those failed we saw him then try on the elbows...

That’s a fantastic slo mo replay and angle on that right hand from Joshua on Ruiz.

I wish Joe Louis’ killer shots had such affording vision - though they still look murderous based in the films we do have.

Usyk isn't pillow-fisted. He is a defensive boxer first, and so he doesn't commit to a big punch unless he sees it. But the power is there when he needs it.

I wouldnt consider it very risky to say that at least he is one level above AJ. At the very least.

If he beats Fury hes undoubtedly THE fighter of this era. I hope he retires after too, what's left to do? Beat Joshua again? Pointless.. Wilder is shot & was always a one trick pony.. there will be two fights with Fury & by then he'll be what.. 38? Cant see him carrying on.. brilliant fighter & a class human being.. the only thing that gets on my tits is the whole NATO Poster Boy bollocks

Did you not see the Dubois stoppage? AJ holding on for dear life in the 12th? Chisora staggered in the 7th?

    He objectively is not.

Dubois rather quitted, like in some of his previous fights + was exhausted.

    Joshua was exhausted, that's all.

Finally, Usyk hits many times since he's very technical and accurate, yet no KO. If other boxers landed as much as Usyk, they would KO most of their opponents. Usyk lands a lot, yet no KO. Even Fury who is pillow fisted has proper knockdowns in the heavyweight division. Usyk, not a single one. Dubois was still conscious and only on his knee. Usyk is pillow fisted, even more than Fury. He was a cruiserweight after all.

Heavies have always been the least skilled out of any division as they can have a career just down the their size and weight. You need skill to have a career in lower weights

I respect you too brother, but I think that's just a slight overestimation imo

Anyway if Fury beats Usyk(big if in your mind if he fights him), but if he wins fair and square? Then you must rate Fury as a great heavyweight then

He's a class act, but the level of competition can't put him in that teir 1 bracket. He's not ahead of Floyd or manny,no way in my eyes, but that's my opinion

My apologies for laughing, but I was just a little taking a back

He's definitely an all time great though and p4p better than Fury, Aj etc by a mile. I won't disagree there

Boxers know how to take a punch. When you see guys who seem to just be able to soak any amount of punishment up it's usually because they do subtle little things to take the edge off the shots and their bodies know how to react to the trauma. MMA guys do this to a certain extent, but they're obviously nowhere near as good at it since they have so many other things they need to be aware of (kicks, knees, takedown attempts). It's just a matter of what you're familiar with. When Ray Mercer fought Musashi in K-1 he was downed and seriously hurt by a high kick. Musashi wasn't a huge kicker, but Mercer's body wasn't acclimatised to the effect of getting kicked.

    Scary how good he is.

Everyone been crowing over Canelo, Loma, Crawford and Inoue, Usyk is the best of the bunch for me.

He's easily one of the very best boxers in recorded history.

Can't think of anyone ever I would make a clear favourite over him.
