Current AJ would crush Fury in less than 6 rounds

Big punchers like AJ, Wilder and Zhang look great sometimes when they get that huge KO.

But the reason they are not competing for undisputed is because they are very vulnerable if you can nullify their big shots.

Usyk can do this with his speed and movement. Fury with his sheer size and reach etc.

Mind you, with nearly all the top heavy’s in their late 30s, the division is a bit unpredictable. I’m sure the likes of Fury who doesn’t seem to look after himself will decline faster.

    That's better.

I agree that AJ will cause Fury problems, but whether that will be enough to win will come down to Fury's game plan for me. If he goes all Kronk no slick movement he'll lose, but I don't think Fury will repeat the mistake he made with Ngannou. Either way hopefully we see that fight.

As for AJ v Wilder it's a case of who lands first and who can capitalise on it. Wilder for all of his flaws has landed on every fighter except Parker (which surprised even me). For this reason it's 50/50 because while AJ is technically better and hits hard, Wilder can hit harder and faster even if the delivery is limited. Great matchup and something I want to see.

I'm not a Fury fan and, to be honest, I even wish that Fury lost to Usyk by knockout but I wouldn’t write Fury off, he’s a boxer by mood, he can very confidently defeat Wilder or Whyte, but at the same time arrange a difficult fight with obvious outsiders like Wallin or Pianeta. And it’s interesting how the crowd’s opinion changes, after Joshua lost twice to Usyk, people wrote that "cowardly" Joshua has no chance against Fury or Wilder.

Anthony Joshua has always been a bad matchup for Fury. Size, speed and combination punching and I dont think Fury can hurt him as easily as other people do. Plus if Joshua catches Fury and drops him hes a much better finisher than Wilder.

Always very fickle on here after every fight (not just Heavyweights) the winner of the fight is lauded and thread after thread on them in mythical match ups H2H etc etc whilst the loser is ripped to pieces and basically was never any good. Take for example when Parker was destroyed by Joyce in 11 rounds back in 2022 he was pulled apart on here and the people that were slating him then now hold him in a completely different regard. Joshua was in the same boat after the two Usyk losses and below par performances against Franklin and Helenius yet here we are now with his fans returned and he will apparently on this form just turn up and destroy Fury in a few rounds and it will be a different story if Usyk was to fight this version of Joshua.Until they fight nobody knows who gets their hand raised especially at Heavyweight .

    Joshua KOs Fury

I have always stood by that statement

Fury's best chance was when Joshua was full of self doubt and his confidence was at its lowest - 2019-2022.

That's why Fury was always keen to stick the knife in and play the mental games with Joshua.

Yeah people who have no clue what their talking.
When the fight was talking i was pretty much the only one on this forum saying that AJ will KO Fury inside 7 rounds, and he is stylistic nightmare for Fury.
I didn't need any Ngannou fight to open my eyes. I can sum 2 + 2 pretty easily.
Fury has nothing on AJ. His style is perfectly match for AJ.

I know a lot of people don't like Fury but it was pretty obvious that he phoned it in against Ngannou.
Fury AJ will be a good fight I still favor Fury 60/40 both guys are capable of knocking the other out.

Couldn't agree more and bar the extreme Fury haters, he will also be the second coming if he smashes usyk

It's all Bs until all these guys fight. We will reserve judgment until May and despite how good Aj looked against picked opponents, he will need to settle for third best, or second after may, depending how the Undisputed folds

Ben Davidson. He has already made a big difference to AJ, both in confidence and in improving some of his flaws.

For the first time, in the Ngannou fight you could actually see AJ move his head off the centre line when throwing a punch, I've never seen him do that before. Right now, this is the best version of Joshua I've ever seen.

It seems to me that if AJ sticks with Davidson he could still further improve. I think right now he beats everyone bar Usyk, and a third match between them would be very interesting.

The current Fury is an undisciplined Fat pig man slob…. I’d imagine he’d stop him sooner.

The MMA guy went into a southpaw stance and didn't know how to avoid a straight right. Fury is a little more crafty than that.
