I would be the happiest man in the world if AJ would fight me - Hrgovic for IFLTV

Why do you think this forum is reluctant to see AJ-Hrgovic (or Wilder or Parker)

  1. He doesnt deserve it, rabbit punching and all

  2. He just aint that good, why waste preciouse time of AJ (or WIlder or Parker)

  3. 3 years in waiting mandatory, of course he deserves it

Hrgovic said that he already started the camp for Parker when he pulled out. Also he said his side is never the problem, contracts just arent getting signed (which implys that 6-fight offer from Saudis are BS).

He was ready for Febuary 17 (weeks notice for Usyk), was ready to jump in for Parker, happly accepts Joshua offer, and is official replacment for Fury if he gets the jumps again.

We have a fighter here that wants to fight, yet 90% of this forum dont want him near WIlder, Parker or Joshua, why is that?

If Franklin, Helenius and Ngannou deserved a fight with Joshua, why wouldn't Hrgovic deserve a chance? Although I agree that Hrgovic should fight Parker, so if he wins then fight Joshua.

Parker has to rematch Zhang. Put Hrgovic in with Joyce.

He is like 99% the next AJ opponent, who the heck doesn't want him to be AJ opponent? And sorry to shatter some dream, but Hrgovic is just like Wilder all but talks.

Both Wilder and Hrgovic was offered to fight on the March card, and it's their fault they are not in, as they ducked. Hrgovic can say whatever he wanna say, but he choose to stay inactive and sit on his mandatory waiting for the big money AJ fight.

He was even given a long list of opponents to choose from by Turki, and he was also called by at least 2 of the guys on the list, and Hrgovic goes on silence. Just now he open his mouth. Where was Hrgovic, when Dubois and Anderson called him, when Turki comes with the offer for Hrgovic ? Where was he ?

And this ain't hating on him, as i give him props for him being ready to jump fighting against Usyk on February the 18th. I even make a thread and apologies for my criticisms on him before that for his level of opponents and that he decide to stay out.
But i was actually right from the get going, and he just want the big payday against AJ/waiting for his title chance, and not want to risk his status. Which is absolutely fine, but then he shouldn't run his mouth and cry how this or that guy is ducking him, when there was opportunity, he decide to pass it.
All the hype around him was debunked by Turki, as we see plenty of opponents were happy to go against him, but Hrgovic goes on silence, which is very telling.

Who doesn't want to see this fight? It's a damn good fight and probably the best match up that can be made with Fury, Usyk, Parker and Zhang all tied up with each other.

I'm also tired of waiting for Hrgovic to finally fight someone decent. There's been a big question mark over him for so long, is he as good as some hope or is he just another solid heavyweight who will fall short from ousting the top guys like so many before. It's time to put an end to the maybe's and see what Hrgovic can do and Joshua is really his only option in the near future unless he's just happy to sit out for a year or more waiting for the winner of Usyk/Fury.

Let's make this happen, neither of them can give a valid reason for not taking this. Joshua has had his time to rebuild, it's time to step back up and Hrgovic will be offered a staggering payday, if this doesn't happen, someone is ducking, it's not like either of them have better options.

From the interview, you can deduct that Dubois and the crew that was option for Hrgovic wouldnt sign a contract. Maybe the rematch clause was problematic?

Main claims to fame. Equal third place in the Olympics, controversial “win” over the erratic Zhang and a hulking presence.
I suppose in the present low quality of the heavies, these attributes are acceptable.

    You can see the poll

As he himself said - none is up to him, he is ready to fight and he proved that by accepting Usyk fight at 7 days notice.

As he himself said again - it is all up to Joshua, he is the superstar.

Only way this doesnt happen is if Joshua choses not to fight him, AGAIN.

But 13+ fighters did decine to fight him, on paper. I dont know an example in history of this many rejections of top level contender.

I’ve no doubt that the IBF will announce AJ v Hrgovic a week or so after Fury and Usyk confirm their rematch - late August at Wembley or another big UK stadium works.

    Hrgovc offered, Zhang refused.

Also, what is the point - it should be Parker vs Hrgovic. + Zhang is like 42
