I haven’t seen that much of Benvenuti obviously has a good resume although his best wins are against blown up welterweights like Griffith and Rodriguez although not to be played down for one moment.
Finnegan operated at Light Heavyweight and was a skilled tough southpaw who gave Bob Foster a lot of trouble before being knocked out in 14 rounds and also ran John Conteh close.
Difficult to pick a winner here not seeing that much of Nino but I think size could be the issue here.

Yeah at Light heavy I favor Finno

At Middleweight its Nino all the way.

This fight would, in today's nicknamed fights world, be known as "Nino vs. Finno", no doubt!

Finnegan was really good at using his head. I think he’d have cut Nino up. The heads a melon but it cuts like a scalpel on the inside. When you’re throwing punches you can miss the right way I missed often for a reason and there are lots of routes for butting by clinching, slipping and rolling it really is a third fist if you sister it with head movement or your defence.
