Mosley: "I Think Margarito Studied The Tape Of My Fight With Cotto"

Mosley got phased by Cotto's power thats why he wasnt able to walk him down in the beginning. I am pretty sure if Shane was a lot younger when he was really fast he would of won that fight with crisp combos.

 

If Shane was younger he would of outboxed Cotto and Cotto would of been the one who looked desperate. :bbb

 

Well, margarito should have been watching mosley for the longest time because that's basically how margo fought throughout his career.

In the countdown show Margarito was watching Cotto vs Judah so yeah he has watched Cotto vs Mosley too I think.

Margaritio isn't the Bernard Hopkins type.....that studies tapes, and comes up with a fight plan.....because he only has one way to fight, "come forward, throw punches"......so as a fan of this fighter, i gotta say.......cut the bull****

Margo Can Only Fight 1 Way Straight Forward And Relentless Have To Be Prepared To Fight A Tough 12 Rounds Because Margo Isn't Going Anywhere.

 

Lets see how entertaining it is for his family to deal with him with brain damage after he's retired! If he keep fighting like that, he won't last to long.

Margarito sure did watched the tape but he won't make the mistake Shane did. Three bananas or twelve bananas. Shane picked three, even a chipanzee can figure that one out.

 

Shane is full of ****. Cotto outboxed Shane throughout the fight. I don't know how anyone can have shane winning his fight with Cotto. I hope Margo does fight shane now so we can see Shane get counted out!

 

The thing people are not observing with Marg is his attention to his own body. He tightened up his already tight defense to his torso. This negated one of Cotto's key weapons, the body punch. Since Margarito is taller he knew he would eat shots but not all of them would land with the full impact, that and the knowledge that power is lost when you are retreating. Fighters hit a lot harder coming forward than going backward. In a case where two power punchers are goin at it that can make all the difference in the world. Well that and a steel chin. It is always hard to admit that against the boxer puncher (Cotto) the slicker boxer lost (Mosley) and the power puncher won (margo). Although both Mosley and Margo are considered power punchers each leans more towards one attribute and I know I don't have to explain who is who on ESB. Cotto is the perfect happy medium. Conclusion: Styles and good training make fights not tapes.

 

Mosley should have boxed, if only he decided to box he might have won that fight. Mosley tried to exchange and he couldn't do good enough damage to seriously hurt Cotto or trouble him, yeah he did stun him but it was nothing too serious. Margarito just had the size advantage and broke Cotto down.
