This would be Tyson vs Berbick 2.0.

Off accumulation. Usyk was levels above most. He has some power but he is not a big puncher. 80s heavyweights were larger than cruiserweights

    Saved me typing this out.

    I love Usyk.

However, he had absolutely nothing to have kept Mike off of him.

It would have been a very bad match up for him stylistically.

Mike wouldn’t have given him any time or space to have boxed.

    Surprise surprise.

Everybody else has given logical reasons why Mike would have won.

    Then you appear.

I guess Mike couldn’t have competed, as he was from the 1800’s, right?

    Evolution and all that.

Tyson would win by KO in the early rounds. Either by body shot or head shot set up by a body shot.
    Either way Iron Mike wins.

Tyson is all wrong for Usyk, all wrong. Tyson KO early.

Usyk is too big and fast and skilled for Tyson to catch. Even Holyfield could roid up and outbox Tyson. What do you think Usyk would do then?

Where is the lie in that comment? Hughie Fury is bigger - check. Hughie Fury is more skilled - check. Hughie Fury fight in a better era with bigger and stronger opponents - check.

Would be Outbox Prime Ali? Easily IMHO.

Usyk on the other hand would outbox Hughie. There is levels to this game.

    Too big?

    Too fast and skilled?

Mike would have jumped on him from the outset. He’d have pressured him with power punches, where he’d have minimised his space and his time, where he’d have put Usyk into a defensive position.

Usyk had nothing to have kept Mike off of him.

Again, it doesn’t matter who you think is the most skilful etc.

The most important thing is always how the guys match up on the night stylistically.

Usyk is great. But this would have been a very bad stylistic match up for him.

He doesn’t possess the tools to have deterred or stopped Mike from pressuring him up close, on the inside.
