With the way he takes body shots, Mike eats him alive. The only guys that troubled Mike were the ones that could stand up to him and have enough power to put him down and that was post prime Iron Mike.

    Hugh Fury and Ali

    1) Both are boxers
    2) Both are humans
    3) Both have two hands
    4) Both had a "Y" in their original last names
    5) Both had a "U" in their original first names
    6) Neither have ever been in my kitchen

The similarities go on and on. I would say they are practically the same person.

66-67 prime Ali averaged 208-9 lbs... Thats less than what a modern Cruiser rehydrate after weigh in. Fat Ali was still better than weak Ali because of the added chin and power. Fat Lennox Lewis were better than weak Lewis etc. but against giants of the modern SHW division fat is not an option. Lennox Lewis would at least be competitive today but Ali... Why not try convince me of Floyd Paterson or Joe Frazier when you are at it.

As others have said bad style match up for Usyk. Tyson is probably the best heavyweight ever when it comes to closing the distance and getting into that mid range where he was lethal. Holyfield was able to tie up Tyson to break his forward momentum and push him back on the backfoot where Tyson is less effective, Usyk in all his fights has never shown me he can do that as that's not part of the amateur game where he crafted his style and we saw in the Briedis fight when he tried to dictate and push back Briedis by being more offensively minded than usual he ended up in a tough fight. If he trades with Tyson he's getting KO'ed.

Please explain how Hughie Fury is 1 more skilled than Ali, and 2 has lost every meaningful fight he’s ever been in yet is somehow is this great heavyweight?

Even at that weight Ali would hammer Hughie who has only ever beaten journeymen. No one takes you seriously, there is no planet where Hughie is clearly ‘more skilled’ than Ali based on what they demonstrated during their respective careers.

I think he would find prime Ali and Lewis tougher to beat than Tyson.

In fact, I think he would lose to both.

I would also pick Jamaica Foreman to beat Usyk.

I would also make the best versions of Holmes, as well as both Klitschkos, very, very slight favourites over Usyk.

I would make Tyson (as well as Joe Frazier and Joe Louis, and sonny Liston) pick'em fights with the Ukrainian.

    Everyone else, Usyk beats.

Because Hughie is a modern and s better version of Ali. The only thing Ali could try in this modern era is hit and run, just like Hughie does but he is harder to catch. Look at the small and slow plodders Ali fought and how easy they still landed on him then compare it with Hughies performance of say against Joseph Parker.

Hughie is not a great heavyweight today. You misunderstand me, he is just boring average. Alot of pressure fighters can beat him. Like Kubrat Pulev or Alexander Povetkin did. But he out ran them at the beginning of those fights before he got tired. Ali would be a worse version of that. Easier to hit and less skilled in close than Hughie. Just imagine how easy Hughie would box against those small and slow plodders from the 60's and 70's...

I dont even think Ali would crack top 50 today. Maybe with a big promoter behind his back with a padded record of cherry picked opponents he could tag and out run.

    Thats all.

I am a fan of Usyk and his attitude, but prime Tyson is unlike anyone he has ever faced. Tyson KO 2.

    Interesting opinions that I respect.

However, I couldn’t view this as a pick ‘em fight.

It would have been a terrible stylistic match up for Usyk.

Usyk. AJ hits harder than Tyson and Usyk proved he has a chin against SHW punchers. Tyson has no engine because he's a roided up LHW or less and he has no mental toughness/heart. He's also extremely stupid and one-dimensional. AJ is actually smarter and more versatile and look how he did. Usyk would hit him from range until Tyson quit.

As for Hughie Fury and Ali, Ali isn't lasting 12 rounds with Povetkin when he can't even handle the smaller and weaker and cruder Frazier. He wouldn't last with Parker either. Ali was a punching bag who people pretend was some defensive genius. There's no way Ali hurts Hughie Fury and will find it hard to land too. Hughie could win that in a stinker, it's not impossible. Ali is the most overrated boxer in history. I repeat, the Povetkin Fury fought, who was still dangerous and landing big accurate shots on the jaw, would smash Ali to pieces, it would be a massacre.

A lot of folks thought he was a terrible stylistic match for Holyfield as well.

Tyson was very good, but he beat no-one on Usyk's level other than past-best Holmes, and IMO, prime Holmes v Mike is a fifty-fifty as well.
