This is a good double header. I like it.

Davis fights a legitimate opponent which if he wins gives credence to his claim as one of the best LW fighters.

Benavidez becomes mandatory challenger for Beterbiev v Bivol and if he wins he then calls the shots against Canelo.

This is a good card, I still don't know if Frank is ready for the top, top yet, I would've liked to see him in against a 10-15 guy first but I applaud his confidence and tenacity..

I think Benavidez/Gvodzyk depends entirely on what Gvodzyk has left TBH, pre-Beterbiev I would've picked him in a heartbeat. But those last few rounds of that fight, then being effectively retired................I dunno. I heard through the grapevine he's looked good in his returns but those aren't opponents you can really prove anything against and David is on a real role. Slight edge to David for that one.

Nice fights to anchor a ppv card, hopefully we get a couple of good ones in addition to those 2.

Delusion. The only thing David can do to call shots against Canelo is sell fights.

If Benavidez is undisputed champion at LHW and Canelo wants another shot in the division, Benavidez gets 50/50 split.

Its a novel thought but I don't think that would do it honestly because it still wouldn't make him the bigger draw or even close.

He could well be, that's the nature with contenders, they're all hype jobs until they get a chance to prove themselves.

Benavidez hasn't been given that chance yet.

It would make it the biggest fight for Canelo.

Undisputed v Undisputed and a chance at a new divisions glory.

A fight that big doesn't matter who the draw is. The event sells itself.
