Disclaimer ( i don’t put heavyweights in my p4p lists. In no particular order

    Harry Greb
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Willie Pep
    Henry Armstrong
    Benny Leonard
    Joe Gans
    Marvin Haggler
    Jack Britton
    Gene Tunney ( light heavy)

there’s certainly room to add more and I’d love to hear your opinions on who I may be overlooking, obviously Roy Jones jr, Pacquaio and Floyd have their place, my particular list has a lot to do with Longevity, quality of opposition and legacy, let me know what you think and list some of yours

Langford, Fitzsimmons, Wilde, Walcott, Charles, Duran, all need to be in it. Hagler not so much.

Forgetting all the gentleman from the really long ago for a moment, why do you have Marvin Hagler as the best boxer whose career started since World War 2? While I disagree, I am not arguing with you. I am just curious as to your reasoning.

You and I have known each other for several years now and I will tell you I cannot think of a single time we've disagreed on anything as it pertains to boxing. I never saw you on the lounge. So, I don't know about anything else.

At his best, I personally think he could beat any middleweight ever on any given night, i don’t think he lost to SRL, he beat Vito imo, he got Duran and Hearns, pretty confident he’d get all the greats from Kid McCoy to Ketchal, to Papke, Greb and Walker, Zale Lamotta, SRR Olsen and Monzon, at Marvin’s best he was absolutely a machine

Tunney has a great list of wins, but I think Charles tops it with Burley, Moore, Walcott, and so on, and so on.

IMHO the next name should have been Langford, not Hagler :)
