He needs to stfu. He pays his fighters peanuts. UFC isn't worth it. That's why Ngannou came to boxing. McGregor is the only guy that made good money strictly from UFC and he was a one of a kind self-promoter. He had Dana eating out of the palm of his hand. Dana has never treated anyone else like that. Was watching the UFC reality show of the old guys vs the young guys and the old guys faces and ears were all destroyed. And for what? The peanuts they make in UFC are not worth it. Hopefully the young guys will look at them and find another line of work
Dana is just as corrupt underpaying fighters, refusing to acknowledge other MMA organisations champions or have any unification fights Jon Jones their Heavyweight champ has been banned for taking drugs and even admitted to hiding from drug testers and Dana just turns a blind eye to it all as long as he makes money from the fighter he doesn't care
They never talk about how UFC wouldnt for example make a fight between a UFC champion and PFL champion. UFC get away with this because the sport of MMA is generally recognised as 'UFC' rather than it being an organisation within MMA.
While the sport of boxing certainly has its problems and I don't necessarily disagree with his points, at the end of the day Dana is a snake.
The ufc has slowly been going down the boxing route over the years. Many times a fighter has been given a ufc title shot coming off a loss. Nick Diaz and Holly Holm were given title shots coming off losses. Is it a sport or a popularity contest ? Complete farce. Why are the ufc not forcing their heavyweight champ Jon Jones to fight the interim champ Aspinal ? Imo if the champion does not fight the interim at the first available opportunity they should rightly be stripped. Way too many interim belts created when they are not required. Nonsense BMF belt created and Dana cries that boxing has numerous belts in each division. Well the ufc often does aswell although nowhere near the farce that boxing is with all their "world title" belts in each weight class Look at Jon Jones ped's issues over the years. Clearly Conor has been roiding ever since his last fight and surprise surprise he hasn't been in the testing pool all that time. You should ONLY be out of the testing pool if you are retired and Conor is not retired. They are selectively letting one fighter cheat/gain an advantage that all other fighters can't do.
