I agree. If we are going to have drug testing in boxing those who test positive have to be held accountable. If they aren't, why bother testing?

    Where does he go now?

Hearn must curse Benns name behind closed doors

Not sure how anyone could feel sorry for either of them? Their handling of this entire saga has been deplorable.

Seems Benn has a new born to look after, or at least announced it this week… I’m not casting any aspersions on his character but he’ll be glad of that distraction

An eggscellent start to the day hearing this news.

All drugs cheats should be banned for life.

Hearn tells lies, lies and more lies then lies about the lies.

If the clown had just held his hands up and took a ban he would be back fighting by now and most people would have given him a second chance.

Can't think of another boxer who has ever dealt with failing a drugs test ( not even just one but two!!) as badly.
Step forward and take a bow Mr Benn

Mad thing is, the procedure can actually start now! All this has been just to stop UKAD or the board investigating the VADA tests.

This must dent Conor's case of not having clomifene in his system?

Bit disappointing that Warren & Hearn have their new found respect.

Previously Warren would have been bouncing at this news.

You haven't even got to directly admit guilt. Just say something along the lines of "while I would never knowingly cheat and take a banned substance, I understand that as a professional athlete I am responsible for what goes into my body and therefore accept the boards decision. We move forward, lessons learned, back stronger blah blah blah".

It's not like he would be the first fighter to do this and then carry on after a little ban without too much bother. But him and Hearn couldn't have handled it any worse. And where does he go from here? Because it's not like he's actually any good and without PED's and cynical matchmaking for a UK audience, he's got nothing.

It serves them right and I'd happily never see Benn in a boxing ring ever again.

Exactly, he could have just said he doesn't know how the substance could have possibly gotten into his system but he accepts the ruling and will more forward

I really don't know what Hearn was thinking with this whole situation.

He has many faults but he isn't stupid . To expect us to-
    Believe Benn didn't actually cheat.

Swallow all his not stop lies about Benn being cleared to fight.

Think Benn is an amazing top level fighter.

Actually feel sorry for the way Benn 'this poor kid' has been treated.

Lap up potential future fights with old past it retired fighters.

The list goes on and on
