    but as I say, both men left absolutely everything in the ring there and neither deserved to lose

    No complaints about the deduction but Wardley was perhaps lucky to get away with three backhands.

    Clarke looked the better fighter over 12 rounds, far better fundamentals .
    I would back Clarke in any rematch. The reaction of both fighters said it all for me. Wardley looked like he got away with it.
