    Clarke should have stopped him.

    Hit him a couple of times but then held rather than keep going.

    Should learn from that in the rematch.

    I think you might be right. He could barely stand at the end and must have thrown less punches. Needs to improve his conditioning (says the non boxer Sonny1 :))

    They both gave us a great fight.

    Two absolute Gladiators and God knows how Wardley did half the fight with his nose in that state. Nobody deserved to lose and they both deserve a serious bonus.

    I was slating both of the pre-fight but Wardley has just made me a fan, he's no world beater but to fight for 6 rounds with that facial damage showed phenomenal courage and grit. That's what 'heart' looks like, absolute dog.

    It wasn't in this thread, but wanted to give a hat tip to this from @ash234 earlier in the week.

    I know it didn't quite work out this way with the draw, but you were so close to hitting the nail on head. Bar the point removal this was the most perceptive prediction I saw imho.

    I've not seen the fight but didn't rate either that highly before hand.
    Especially Clarke- he has looked shite in every fight I've seen him him
