I wouldn't be surprised if Clarke packs it in, now he knows he has to deal with the likes of Wardley if he wants to continue.

Disagree, I thought Clarke edged the last round to make it 113-113. 114-112 Wardley would’ve been more than fair also. The one Clarke wide card from Howard Foster was abysmal.

I’ll admit to rooting for Fabio vociferously throughout as well! I guess we all just see things different ways.

 

Commentary was sucking Clarke off for 12 rounds

I agree. His better text book boxing and accuracy won the fight. Credit to Wardley as well who took a lot of punishment with his bloody face but I think this is his level. Higher up he will suffer taking such punishment.

 

I was rooting for neither man. It was very close. But Wardley definitely edged it for me.

I'm not whinging about it being a draw, I'm just saying how I see it. I don't want or need anyone to agree with me. We all see things as we do.

I think we're all in agreement however, that it was a great scrap.

They were a bit biased for sure but Clarke was winning long periods of the fight and clearly was the more skilled fighter, it's just Wardley's chin and heart were able to even things up for him.

Very good fight both guys come with credit but to me Clarke showed he was the better boxer and won the fight. Wardley showed heart.
