Interesting fight. Whyte's last chance, he should take it. I hope he fires the trainer he had for the franklin fight because his trainer was constantly saying "sit behind that jab, don't go for the knockout", but when Whyte finally started throwing haymakers he hurt Franklin in the 12th I hope whyte takes this fight and comes out swinging
I really like Parker as a person, but as a boxer, he has no ambition. he won fights and still calls out someone lower than his last two opponents. WHY ?
Maybe because after pulling the upset against Wilder who everyone thought would KO him, he went directly into fighting the other hardest puncher in the division, who was also one of the most avoided boogeymen in the sport. I guess he figures after fighting two of the hardest touches in a span of less than 3 months, he deserved a light one.... perhaps? In other words... cut the man some ****ing slack, for **** sake.
Exactly this and he’s prob thinking he can squeeze in another more than decent Saudi payday in the summer as the two guys he has just beaten are tied up boxing each other. I think it makes sense and he should win relatively easily going off current form.
That and.... revenge is sweet. Successfully avenging a loss looks a lot better on a resume than being content with one.
