Everyone knows Jones had monster power at 160.

Jones fairly easily. Might even stop him.

Could Jones take a beating? That's what you took when you fought 15 rounds with Fullmer. Even if you happened to win a decision you still got beat up.

Gene Fullmer might be one of the most underrated middleweights in history.

The RJJ that got in the ring with Bernard Hopkins wants no part of Gene Fullmer.
Gene Fullmer went hard with Ray Robinson. Robinson was not at his best then, and maybe the Robinson that beat LaMotta would have handled Fullmer with ease. But Robinson was used to hard fights and a variety of styles. Jones was not.
It is widely known- HBO talked about it- that after McClellan got hurt fighting Benn, RJJ got scary. He was getting a bunch of money from HBO and was very selective about who he fought. I have always felt that RJJ really didn't have his heart in it, that he wasn't built for a fight.
I would be curious to see how he would react to somebody bulling in behind their left elbow and the top of their head, winging punches.
On top of that, they guy wading in has a weird looking jab that works strangely well, is a consummate professional with in great condition, that believes that he is going to win, and has a lot of rounds with really good fighters and has learned accordingly.
That ain't Jorge Vaca, Ricky Stackhouse or Art Serwano. There is absolutely zero at 160 that indicates that RJJ would hang with Fullmer.

Yeah but Roy was, you know, Roy Jones Jr. His speed and underrated power may win this. Fullmer said about the left hook that Robinson caught him with, that he never saw it coming. RJJ had the speed and power to throw a similar left hook

Sure he could. Very possible. But he was giving Robinson a hard fight before that and I am doubtful about the ability of RJJ, especially the RJJ that fought at 160, to deal with a hard fight.

Adam, You're a referee, would you let him get away with all the fouling that other referees did?
